EUWIB is excited to host Sandra Carlisle, The Head of Investment at HSBC Global Asset Management!

Sandra is a recognised industry spokeswoman and a board member of the Principles for Responsible Investment (since 2016) and a visiting business fellow at the Oxford Smith School for the Environment.

Sandra joined HSBC in 2017 and has been working in the industry since 1986.

She has previously worked at: 
♦️ Newton Investment Management in London as the head of responsible investment
♦️ F&C Investments and Citi where she set up and ran the sustainable and responsible investment team in global markets and the European equity sales team respectively
♦️ Deutsche Bank in Paris and London as an equity specialist

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. It has proven to help improve well being, physical health, and mental health!

Anne Macdonald, currently studying for a PhD in Mindfulness, will be running the session. You will also get your hands on some free Propercorn popcorn!

Building a network and finding mentors are vital to building a successful career in every industry. This Wednesday night is a chance to start doing just that! Come along, mingle with EUWIB committee and members and other guests.

The event is going to start off by introducing Accenture's Senior Manager which will briefly talk about her career path and how she got to her current position. To follow this up, Accenture will host a presentation. We've allocated some time for you to ask any questions you may have regarding the presentation, the company, or the industry in general! 

The networking reception afterwards will give you the chance to chat with the Accenture representatives, including the Senior Manager, in an informal & friendly environment over a drink.
